NORTH AMERICA

North America is a continent divided into only three countries: Canada, the United States and Mexico. The choice of destination thus appears limited but these gigantic states have a myriad of tourist riches. From north to south of the continent, the climate changes considerably between the Canadian Far North and the Mexican sunshine. The interests justifying a trip to North America are also very varied, oscillating between endless megalopolises, meadows as far as the eye can see, mountains, deserts and white sand beaches!

This diversity of landscapes can also be found on the sole soil of the United States. For the foreign tourist opting for this destination, undertaking a trip to the American continent can also be like an excursion on his television screen. Especially with regard to American cities. New York, Los Angeles, Miami, these metropolises have been brought to the screen so much that the whole world has the impression of knowing these places without ever having gone there. However, the atmosphere that reigns between the skyscrapers of Manhattan or on the trams of San Francisco cannot be discovered from a distance. The same goes for the inimitable Las Vegas, this "city of a thousand temptations" punctuated by casinos and cabarets. And to visit these oversized cities without confronting English, Francophones can always fall back on Montreal. Main city of Quebec, it is built on the St. Lawrence, a river that was essential to the colonization of Canada during its discovery.

On the Canadian side, tourist attractions remain close to those existing in the United States. Apart from Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver are the major megalopolises of the country where a large part of the national cultural offer is concentrated. The Great Plains also cross the Canadian territory, crossing the three provinces of ALSAMA: Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The Rockies also cross the border, covering a large part of British Columbia, to the delight of hikers, skiers and other mountain lovers. But the vast majority of the country discovered by Jacques Cartier is covered with a huge coniferous forest, & many fjords to contemplate during the summer.

In North America, sunbathing and sunny beaches can also be part of your trip program. Those of the American archipelago of Hawaii or Mexico. The Yucatan Peninsula, in particular, is very popular with beach attendants around the world who have all heard of the resort of Cancun. Without forgetting Veracruz, located a little further north on the eastern coast of the country. In addition, between two naps in the shade of a palm tree, visitors are sure to soak up the rich Mexican past, dictated by the Aztec and Mayan civilizations. Among the vestiges of these eras, the pyramid of Chichén Itzá will undoubtedly attract the greatest number.

Finally, a trip to North America remains a stay in what is still called the New World, an immersion in the famous American dream, one where everyone finds their footing!
