OCEANIA

Oceania represents one of the six continents of the planet. A vast region located in the South Pacific, it includes Australia, New Zealand (comprising two main islands and hosting a large Polynesian community) and New Guinea (Papua New Guinea) and numerous islands and archipelagos. You can visit New Caledonia, French Polynesia, the Solomon Islands, Samoa, Vanuatu and other names that make dream of paradise beaches under an enchanting sun. Beyond the postcard, this Melanesian and Polynesian land is rich in the cultures of the peoples that compose it. Volcanoes, subtropical forests or snow-capped peaks, all have their particularities that will delight and seduce you to the point of wanting to stay there.

Oceania is a continent apart, not only because it is the furthest from Europe, but also because it consists mainly of islands, more than 10,000 in total. Going on a trip to Oceania means first choosing your destination from four major regions: Australia, Polynesia, Melanesia and Micronesia. These territories at opposite ends of each other reveal incredibly contrasting landscapes of beaches, mountains and volcanoes. Major destinations in Oceania, Australia and New Zealand are perfectly explored by car. The great natural spaces, the jagged coastline and the bustling cities make them incredibly varied destinations. In Polynesia and New Caledonia, things are different since it will often be necessary to sail from one island to another to appreciate all the diversity of the decor.
